Work continues on the steeple tower

This Thursday morning, there was lots of huddling, consulting and planning among the roofers as they decided how to finished the steeple tower roof. The steeple tower is the last stage of replacing the cedar roof on the sanctuary with a metal roof. The Bethany congregation raised more than $30,000 for the work being performed by Pinnacle Roofing Co. The guys work real hard, and I appreciate the company during these weekdays, when church isn't in session.

Today is Ash Wednesday; services at noon and 7 p.m.

Today is Ash Wednesday. Bethany invites you to worship at noon and at 7 p.m. Worship led by Pastor Paul Stumme-Diers includes the imposition of ashes. All are welcome.

Take note that roofers are working on the steeple tower at the entrance to the church. We will have a path around them and they know you are coming.
