CNot all the funds raised have been collected yet, but already contributions are very close to $20,000, according to organizers. Dozens of members of Bainbridge and North Kitsap churches and the greater island/North Kitsap community walked a 2.3-mile course Sept. 24 to raise money to fight hunger locally and globally. Church World Service was the sponsoring group.

Hi everyone,
Just a note to tell you that you’ll be receiving a letter from Bethany most likely tomorrow announcing a congregational meeting on Sunday, Oct. 15. The letter contains a proposed resolution from the church’s Land Utilization Task Force regarding the undeveloped portion of the Bethany premises. It also addresses proposed changes to the Bethany constitution. You can find documents related to these two topics under the “Constitution” tab on this site. Window coverings also will be address at the meeting.
