Work replacing window continues

Good Monday morning to you,

It’s been very interesting these past two weeks watching the workers from Sound Glass remove the old windows in the fellowship hall and kitchen and replace them with energy-efficient windows. Stop by during the day this week and watch all the action. The fellowship hall already is a lot warmer, we’ve noticed. I knew there would be a different in the temperature, but I didn’t think the difference would be that noticeable.

We’re trying to get financial acknowledgement from PSE for our project, and a PSE energy manager stopped by last week and took some calculations from the project. Like all utilities, PSE has grants that potentially give us a break on our bills if our projects meet a certain energy-efficiency threshold.

Below please enjoy this beautiful floral arrangement from this past weekend, done by Dorothy Webb of the Altar Guild.

Quilt and Baby Kit Weekend coming

Good morning, everyone,

We had a wonderful FFF meeting yesterday, as Dave and Trish Siburg shared their travel adventures to Namibia. Thanks everyone for accommodating our windows-replacement project.

This coming weekend is a busy one at Bethany. It’s Quilt and Baby Kit Weekend. And Miles Kelly is baptized on Saturday. I’ll be presenting an adult-education forum on global mission in Namibia after worship on Sunday.

Here are some images from FFF yesterday.
