Margot Jacobs delivers ginger-spice cookies to Bethany

Greetings,

You know you're going to have a good day when Bethany's consummate cookie maker, Margot Jacobs, drops off some still-warm ginger spice cookies in the morning.

Daughter Lucinda explained that Margot had originally planned to have them ready for the men's retreat, but the time came and went. They're at the office window now. I'll pass them on to the hospitality hosts for coffee hours this Saturday and Sunday.

Big tree gets cut up Saturday

Good Wednesday morning to you,

Bethany member Joe Sommerseth and community member Tom Kilbane will start to cut up the large tree on Finch in the apple orchard that came down this winter at 10 a.m. this Saturday, May 11. Can you join them? We're calling for all hands on deck for anyone with a gas-powered saw, gloves and ability to stack medium- and small-size rounds. Call if you have questions. Hope to see you Saturday.
