Quilts, baby kits, school kits all boxed up
Good Tuesday to you,
As you can see by the photo, the crew that came in to box the quilts, baby kits and school kits had plenty of time afterward to quilt. You absolutely wouldn't believe how fast the boxing went. And the spirit our volunteers had was contagious. They made my work this morning go fast, too.
The items will be taken to Redeemer Lutheran Church in Ballard. Joe and Linda Sommerseth do that. From there, they are shipped to Baltimore, Md., where Lutheran World Relief has its headquarters. And from there they are shipped throughout the world to area where families don't have warmth, don't have school supplies, and don't have things for new babies.
It's the Holy Spirit at work.
