Some people in the Bethany community have received supposedly urgent emails from Pastor Paul asking for monetary contributions in the form of gift cards. These emails are not from Pastor Paul, but are a scam. Please do not open suspect emails. Delete them immediately. If you have questions about such solicitations, call the office at 206-842-4241. Some at Bethany have expressed interest in taking part in a work week at Holden Village from Sept. 29 to Oct. 5. If you are interested in working that week to close Holden down for the winter, you can sign up at holdenvillage.org, work week 1. Bethany isn't organizing this trip, but once you've signed up, let us know and we'll see you there. So far, those who have expressed interested include myself and my husband Lloyd and perhaps our daughters, Dave and Gail Christensen, Steve and Chris Christensen and Colleen Chupik.
