Do come to our midweek Lenten times of worship, preceded by a simple soup supper. They take place on Wednesday in Lent, starting this coming Wednesday. The first is at noon. The second is at 6:15 p.m.

On Sunday at 10:40 a.m., ethicist, author and instructor David L. Perry will lead an adult-education hour on ethics and war. The discussion will be based on a chapter of his book titled "Partly Cloudy: Ethics in War, Espionage, Covert Action and Interrogation.” Perry has allowed us to copy that chapter, and you can pick it up in the Bethany library. I also can email you a copy. This promises to be the start of a very complex inquiry, and we invite everyone to come. The discussion will be in the sanctuary.
