July 6 Announcements

Holden Evening Prayer: Bethany will offer Holden Evening Prayer at the 5pm service this Saturday, July 8 and and again on Saturday, August 12.

Summer Cookout: Plan now to attend the 5pm Saturday service on July 22^nd and stay for a cookout! Bethany will provide burgers, hot dogs, and chips. You are invited to bring a side dish or dessert to round out the fare. Those who attend Sunday morning worship are welcome to come for the cookout and enjoy this time with the Saturday folks.

Blood Drive at Bethany: Bloodworks Northwest will be holding a blood drive at Bethany on Thursday, July 13 and Friday, July 14. If you are an eligible donor, please consider scheduling an appointment. Blood donations are especially important during the summer months. Affordable Housing Forum: Housing Resources Bainbridge is offering a City Council Forum to discuss affordable housing on Bainbridge Island on Thursday, July 13, 7pm at the Bainbridge Public Library. HRB Policy Specialist Maggie Rich will facilitate a community conversation with the 2023 candidates for City Council on their affordable housing policy ideas and their vision for Bainbridge Island. Prayers are Requested: for Evan Stoll as he recovers from a stroke; for Jan Thrun as she recovers from a medical emergency while traveling; for Myrna Johnson’s son Ben who is undergoing heart surgery on Tuesday in Seattle.

June 29 Announcements

July IMPACT Gathering: Due to the holiday weekend, the July 2 IMPACT gathering is canceled. Stay tuned for the next meeting date!

July Bible Study: The Rachel Circle Bible Study group will meet on Tuesday, July 11 at 10am since the first Tuesday in July is a holiday. The Men’s Bible Study group will also meet on Tuesday, July 11 at 8am. The Women’s Bible Study and Book Group will not meet in July or August. The group will resume meeting in September.

Office Closed: The office will be closed next Tuesday in observance of the 4^th of July holiday.
