A Blessing and a Party!: This Sunday, June 11, Bethany will honor our faithful Preschool teachers, especially Rachel Running and Valerie Johnson who are retiring from their regular teaching roles. We thank former Preschool Director, Katie Drovdahl who recently left for full-time employment and welcome our new Preschool Director, Julianne Haggart. We also will thank our wonderful, dedicated Sunday School teachers Kathy Dudgeon, Linda Newlon and Benay Nordby. Following worship we will have a cookout/tailgate party in honor of Jim Rohrscheib’s many years of service as the Bethany Treasurer. Hot dogs and hamburgers will be provided. You are invited to bring side dishes or desserts to accompany this picnic lunch. In the spirit of “tailgating”, you are invited to wear the colors of your favorite sports team.

Scam Emails and Texts: Several of you have called the office to let us know that you received a suspicious text that appeared to come from Pastor Paul. Please know that Pastor Paul, Pastor Erin or Debbie would never email or text you to ask for money, gift cards or a favor. If you receive one of these emails or texts, you should report it as junk and delete it. If you receive an email or text from one of us and aren’t sure whether it is legitimate, don’t hesitate to call the office to ask!

Summer Cleaning: We will be taking some time this summer to clean up and organize the lower level of the church. We anticipate a number of items that might be donated to the Rotary Auction as well as a truck load or two that will go to the transfer station. If you have a truck and/or a nice strong back, would you be willing to help with our summer clean-up efforts? If so, contact Debbie in the office for more details.
