Sanctuary Project to Start Soon: The first task in the Sanctuary update project will be removing the ceiling and other demolition that is necessary for the project. This will now begin the week after 4th of July. We will worship one last time in the Sanctuary this Sunday, June 26. After worship on the 26th we will move the chairs out of the sanctuary. Please plan to stay and help with this “all hands-on-deck” effort.
Sanctuary Project Donations: Thank you to all those who have made a gift or pledge towards the cost of the sanctuary update. We still need to raise approximately $11,000 to complete the project. If you have not yet had a chance to contribute to this much needed effort, please consider making a donation. Every gift makes a difference!
Outdoor Worship and Pie Social: Mark your calendars and plan now to attend worship on Sunday, July 10. We will once again gather in the beautiful patio space for an outdoor service. Worship that morning will be followed by an old-fashioned Pie Social. Our wonderful Bethany choir will act as hosts and invites everyone to bring their favorite pie to share.
Next FFF Gathering: The FFF group will not meet in July. The next gathering will be on Wednesday, August 10 at noon. We will enjoy a potluck lunch followed by an ice cream social. Bethany will provide the ice cream and toppings. You bring your favorite side dish, salad or entrée. A sign up sheet is available on the hallway bulletin board.
Altar Flowers: The altar flowers this weekend are provided by the Altar Guild. There are still opportunities to give altar flowers this summer. Please see the bulletin board to sign up.
Prayers Are Requested For: The family of Margot Jacobs, as they mourn her death; Georgia Figgins as her cancer concerns have heightened; Becci Kerstetter who is undergoing chemotherapy; Evan Stoll as he begins to gain strength and stamina; Louise Urness, as she makes the move to an assisted living facility.
