Bethany thanks Scouts for job well done

Good morning, everyone,

I was privileged last night to say thanks to the members of Boy Scout Troop 1565, Bethany’s chartered troop that meets here in the fellowship hall. Thanks was in order, since the Scouts gave up a recent Saturday to clear thick vegetation around our monument sign at High School and Sportsman’s Club roads. They didn’t stop there. They scrubbed down the massive sign and picked up quite a bit of litter, to boot. Thanks, boys.

Remember that FFF meets at noon tomorrow, Wednesday. I’ve been working with Carlton Anderson on his presentation. All I’ll say is that it’s about a special historical ship in Norway and the people behind its. It’s not to be missed.

Another year of preschool starts

The Bethany Lutheran Church Preschool started up last week, and it was great to hear the happy voices in the play yard echo up the hill to the offices. This year features lots of younger brothers and sisters of past preschool students. Here are some images I took on Thursday. The students often file by the office after Preschool Chapel with Pastor Paul. I look forward to meeting them.
