Eagles Wings Youth Choir swings through Kitsap

Morning everyone,

Wow, what a day yesterday. Pastor Paul and I served tacos and bicycle smoothies to a great, great bunch of young people, the Eagles Wings Youth Choir. The group was on a Northwest tour, and stopped here before heading to Martha and Mary for a performance. They were just the nicest group of kids you can imagine, and I've never gotten so many offers to help. Pastor Paul led a hike through the Grand Forest, and the young people were very impressed at the green, tall trees. We lost one of the adult chaperones in the forest, but I was able to find him and followed the bus with my wayward chaperone into Poulsbo. A big thanks to Gail Christensen and Linnea Chu for the cookies and brownies. They were appreciated.

A busy Wednesday; Altar Guild Salad Luncheon happening, as well

Good morning, everyone,

Thanks to Gail Christensen and Linnea Chu for bringing cookies and brownies for our lunch today for the Eagles' Wings Youth Choir from Naperville, Ill. Remember, you are invited to stop by around noon to welcome them, and there's plenty to eat - tacos and bicycle smoothies.

We have our annual Altar Guild Salad Luncheon taking place at noon, as well, at Carol Fenner's home. Thanks, Altar Guild members, for another successful year.
