FFF hosts nostalgic sing-along Wednesday

Good Tuesday morning after a long President's Day weekend. It's good to see the green grass around here, as well as a cleared parking lot.

Do plan to come join us tomorrow, Wednesday, for a nostalgic sing-along hosted by island music man Rick Barrenger. The potluck's at noon, with the singing to follow. Song sheets will be provided. All are invited.

The Council meets tonight at 7 p.m. in the fellowship hall. This will be the first meeting of the new council that now includes Harry Wetzler, Steve Chupik, Allen Lang, Steve Christensen, Doug Love and Maimu Truitt.

All other events this week are back on schedule, including quilting this morning.

Gauging interest in starting a men's softball team

Are you interested in forming a Bethany men’s softball team, playing in a parks league Monday and/or Thursday evenings at Battle Point Park this summer? Indicate your interest by signing up in the hallway. No commitment now; we just want to know if there’s enough interest.

The parking lot still is in very bad shape, with frozen slush all over. Stay home if you are able.
