Upcoming bishop's election draws nine names

Greetings,

Now's the time to read the biographies of the nine clergy members whose names have been offered for bishop of the Northwest Washington Synod. Go to lutherannw.org/BishopElection to read about this varied group of people. They include James McEachran, Deanna Wildermuth, Chris Ode, David Parks, Shelly Bryan Wee, Mark Griffith, Julie Josund, Terry Kyllo and Norma Malfatti.

Current Bishop Kirby Unti will retire after serving one 6-year term.

Bethany bowls up a storm at All Star Lanes

Good Tuesday morning to you,

We have Rachel Circle Bible Study this morning at 10 a.m., followed by quilting. This evening, Amabile Choir will be rehearsing here.

Last night was quite a night as about a dozen Bethanians tried their skill at bowling at All Star Lanes. Ralph Schulz brought his own ball, and Pastor Paul, the Whittleseys, the Pringles, the Sivertsons and Zachery Shields were on hand. Here are some images. Let's do it again.
