Scott Lindquist appears on ‘60 Minutes’

Dr. Scott Lindquist, state epidemiologist for communicable diseases and member of Bethany, was featured Jan. 5 on the television news magazine “60 Minutes” in a segment about overuse of antibiotics on farms. In the piece, Lindquist asked whether overuse of antibiotics in the pork industry has worsened the spread of antibiotic-resistant

Learn to navigate the legislative system

Good Tuesday morning to you,

Women's Bible Study with Pastor Paul convenes at 10 this morning, followed by quilting.

Looking toward this coming Sunday, Jan. 12, Bethany’s Advocacy Team will present an educational hour at 10:40 a.m. on navigating the legislative system. Some of the topics to be covered will include communicating with legislators and learning how a bill becomes law. Participants also will learn to navigate the legislature’s website, leg.wa.gov.
