October Newsletter: The October Newsletter is available now! Click here to catch up on all the news and read the latest message from Pastor Paul. You can also access the newsletter by visiting the In Touch page on our website:  http://bethanyofbainbridge.org/in-touch/

Indoor Worship at Bethany: Starting this weekend, our Saturday 5pm and Sunday 10am services will be inside in the Sanctuary. Coffee fellowship will follow the Sunday service and wine and cheese fellowship will follow the Saturday service. The 87.9FM channel will still be available on Sunday mornings for those who prefer to listen to the worship service in their car. We ask that all eligible adults be vaccinated, and everyone will wear masks and practice physical distancing for inside worship services.

A “Noisy” Offering: Mark your calendars now for Sunday, October 10th. There will be a collection during Sunday morning worship to benefit the ELCA Hunger Appeal. Come with noisy pockets - quarters, dimes, nickels, pennies. Change is good! We also will be collecting non-perishable donations for Helpline House for the next two weeks. Pastor Paul invites everyone, especially families with children, to plan on a walk to Helpline House after worship on October 10th to bring our donations.

Bible Study groups: The Rachel Circle Bible Study  group meets this Tuesday, October 5th at 10am. The next meeting of the Women's Bible Study group will be Monday, October 11 at 9:30am via Zoom.

Endowment Fund Applications: The Bethany Mission Endowment Fund was created to support and expand the mission and ministry of Bethany Lutheran Church in ways not possible using the annual operating budget. The application period for a Bethany Endowment Fund grant begins September 1 and ends October 15. Click here to download the application or visit the website for more details.

Building Keys: Do you have a key to the building that you no longer use? Debbie in the office would love to get any keys no longer being used back so she can provide them to new volunteers or staff members who might need one.

Altar Flowers:  The altar flowers are given this week by Vicki Browning in honor of her daughter Susan’s birthday.

Pastor Paul and the youth will be setting up the three-mile CROP Walk course after worship on Sunday. If you are interested in helping with the course set up, contact Pastor Paul for details. 25% of the money raised goes to support Helpline and Fishline. This year every dollar will be matched by an island donor TWO-FOR-ONE, meaning if you contribute $100, the donor will match it with $200, making the total $300!!!
