Compass Center congregation to help pick up

Good Wednesday morning,

Members of the Church of Steadfast Love will join us for a work party the afternoon of Saturday, April 6, as we clean up branches and trees brought down in the storms. We’ll work from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m., and then we’ll worship at 5 p.m. in a service led by the Rev. Kristy Daniels of the Church of Steadfast Love, which is at the Compass Center. At 6 p.m., we’ll enjoy a wonderful spaghetti dinner with our friends from across the water. We hope you can join us for the cleanup, worship and dinner, for whatever you can do. Lecture on Norwegian playwright Ibsen is Tuesday

Pacific Lutheran University presents a free public lecture on
Norwegian playwright Henrik Ibsen titled “Adapting the Norwegian Master’s Work to Film” at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, in Xavier Hall, Room 201. The lecturer is Lisbeth Pettersen Waerp, professor of Scandinavian literature at the University of Tromso-Arctic University of Norway.
