Young people work up quilts for Helpline House

Under the direction of Child and Family Coordinator Allison Pringle, Bethany's Sunday-school students completed a collection of fleece quilts during and after worship yesterday. The quilts will be taken to Helpline House, where they will be distributed to Helpline clients in need. The effort coincided with an adult-education hour in which Helpline Executive Director Maria Metzler introduced herself and told about the social-service agency's mission. A useful morning, all around. Pictures are below:

Looking at last Sunday and what's coming up

Greetings to you this Thursday.

We have a busy day with the PEO annual auction here, as well as FFF. Come stop by. Here are some images from Children's Sunday, which took place Nov. 11. It was intergenerational in nature, with the children who led the service honoring others with flowers and recognition. Evelyn Peratrovich shared her military-nurse hat with the children.

This coming Sunday following the 10:30 a.m. worship service, Helpline House Executive Director Maria Metzler will introduce herself and explain her organization's mission at an adult-educaiton session. You are invited.
