Metal now being added to sanctuary roof

This early Monday morning may be cold, but the sun is shining and the precip is zero. The roofers from Pinnacle Roofing Co. are back at work, beginning to install the long pieces of metal room over the sanctuary. It's fascinating to watch. Each piece is about 30 feet long and 2.5 feet wide. The color is a muted dark brown, matching what's on the fellowship hall and office areas. That section of the metal room went on in 2009, according to Bethany records. Stop by and see the excitement. Here are a couple of images I took.

FFF will features valentine's music for the romantic at heart

All are invited to Bethany at noon this coming Wednesday, when our FFF group of seniors will enjoy a Valentine's musical presentation by Dick Goff and his extensive CD collection. Even if you've never come, this is a time to join. We'll start with a potluck at noon, then move over to the program. Goff is a retired attorney who takes his program to all sorts of venues on the island. We're glad to have him here. See you at noon Wednesday in the fellowship hall.
