Start saving your change for a noisy offering

Good morning,

Start saving up your loose change. On Super Bowl Sunday, Feb. 3, Bethany will take part in the "Super Bowl Day of Caring." Besides taking up a collection of our loose change for a good cause, Sunday school students and members of the congregation will taken part in making ceramic bowls. This is an intergenerational activity, so do take part. Our partner in the bowl-making is Bainbridge Heart and Soul. A loose-change collection will take place during worship on Saturday, Feb. 2, as well.

Due to the long Martin Luther King Day weekend, there will be no Sunday school this Sunday.

Bethany presents strategies for independent living

The community is invited to a potluck and presentation starting at noon, Wednesday, Jan. 16, when Bethany will host a presentation on "Strategies for Independent Living." Former hospice nurse and Martha & Mary board member Helen Stoll will be among presenters as we look at ideas to age in place fully and well. This presentation also is for caregivers.

There is no need to RSVP, but do come and introduce yourself, and bring a potluck item, if that is convenient. You do not have to be affiliated with Bethany to come.
