Fraud specialist got us all thinking

Good Thursday to you,

AARP fraud-prevention specialist Bill Trilsch updated us yesterday on the many, many schemes scammers use to get our money. One of the most common ones is someone pretending to be a child or grandchild calling and asking for money immediately.

If you missed the FFF presentation, there are materials in the library for you to take home. Here are some images.

Bethany Council welcomes three new members



Good Tuesday morning to you,

Jennie Harris, Anne Howard-Lindquist and David Mueller, pictured in that order, top to bottom,  have been appointed to the Bethany Council, each serving three-year terms as members. Their first meeting was a week ago. You can always view the minutes from the meetings that are posted on the small bulletin board in the hallway.
