Lutheran World Relief (LWR) needs school kits. They simply cannot keep up with the demand. School kits allow children in impoverished areas around the world to attend school. Alice McCain and Rachel Circle are asking for your help in this important endeavor.
Here’s how to get involved:
- Purchase school supplies at sales July through September. A list of supplies used in kits is available here https://lwr.org/schoolkits and on the bulletin board outside the fellowship hall. A supply donation box will be provided near the office.
- Help sew school bags, using directions provided by LWR and fabric/supplies from Rachel Circle.
- Help assemble the completed kits and supplies in late September, in time for Rachel Circle’s fall shipment of quilts, baby and school kits.
