Work continues on the steeple tower
This Thursday morning, there was lots of huddling, consulting and planning among the roofers as they decided how to finished the steeple tower roof. The steeple tower is the last stage of replacing the cedar roof on the sanctuary with a metal roof. The Bethany congregation raised more than $30,000 for the work being performed by Pinnacle Roofing Co. The guys work real hard, and I appreciate the company during these weekdays, when church isn't in session.

I'm happy to see this coming into the home stretch. It looks like they've done a good job of working through a very difficult season. Kudos to Pinnacle Roofing.
Thank you, Lynn. I should add that the project has drawn a fair number of spectators over these weeks who use the park-and-ride lot, along with other visitors to our church. That's in addition to a fair number of Bethany volunteers who stop by to periodically check on the work.
