Sanctuary Project to Start Soon: The first task in the Sanctuary update project will be removing the ceiling and other demolition that is necessary for the project. This will now begin the week after 4th of July. We will worship one last time in the Sanctuary next Sunday, June 26. After worship on the 26th we will move the sanctuary chairs to the fellowship hall. Please plan to stay and help with this “all hands-on-deck” effort.
Sanctuary Project Donations: Thank you to all those who have made a gift or pledge towards the cost of the sanctuary update. We still need to raise approximately $12,000 to complete the project. If you have not yet had a chance to contribute to this much needed effort, please consider making a donation. Every gift makes a difference!
Outdoor Worship and Pie Social: Mark your calendars and plan now to attend worship on Sunday, July 10. We will once again gather in the beautiful patio space for an outdoor service. Worship that morning will be followed by an old-fashioned Pie Social hosted by our wonderful Bethany Choir.
Amabile Choir Concerts: The Amabile Choir, under the direction of our own Sylvia Cauter, will be performing their spring concerts this Friday, June 17 and Saturday, June 18 at 7:30pm in the Bethany Sanctuary. Celebrate Father’s Day weekend listening to this amazing choral group! Tickets are $15 and can be purchased at Dana’s Showhouse, from an Amabile Choir member, or at the door. Tickets purchased for the postponed May concerts are valid for this weekend’s concerts.
Altar Flowers: The altar flowers this weekend are given by Mabel Keeney in memory of her husband Ray, and their 74th wedding anniversary, and to wish everyone a happy Father's Day!
Prayers Are Requested For: Georgia Figgins as her cancer concerns have heightened; Becci Kerstetter who is undergoing chemotherapy; Evan Stoll as he deals with various health issues; Louise Urness, as she makes the move to an assisted living facility.
