Joe Michael honored at congregational meeting
Good Monday morning to you all,
Some 59 people turned out for Bethany's congregational meeting Sunday, where a $413,443 budget that reflects Bethany's mission was approved.
The group also approved a resolution honoring Joe Michael for his service. The resolution is below.

A RESOLUTION HONORING JOE MICHAEL
Whereas, Joe Michael has been a longstanding and faithful presence at Bethany Lutheran Church whenever a facility need presented itself; and
Whereas, Joe Michael has ably served as a chaperone and organizer for youth servant events over the years; and
Whereas, Joe Michael has been a regular and reliable presence as an usher and behind the scenes worker at funerals and special worship services; and
Whereas, Joe Michael continues to support his wife Barbara in her multifaceted volunteer roles at Bethany; therefore,
Be it resolved, that we the people of Bethany Lutheran Church, Bainbridge Island, WA, recognize and celebrate the spirit and ministry of Joe Michael, and today bestow upon him the title of a man for all seasons.
