Congratulations to Marlene Orwiler -- 15 pots for refugees
Congratulations to Marlene Orwiler for collecting enough Safeway Farberware stamps from the Bethany congregation to purchase 15 large pots for refugees.
It was a tremendous effort on Marlene's part, and she even drove at night to people's homes to pick up stamps.
Soon, the pots and all the other items Bethany has collected will be turned over to Lutheran Community Services Northwest, where they will be used to help furnish refugees' apartments.
