Annual meeting creates affordable-housing task force, honors Dick Heine
Good Monday morning, all,
The sanctuary roof and steeple tower are covered in protective wrap as we await the metal delivery. All is quiet.
Yesterday, some 65 people from Bethany attended the annual meeting, where a $420,088 budget for 2017 was passed. In addition, a resolution honoring Dick Heine for his work collecting supplies for refugees was passed with a standing ovation. A resolution establishing a task force to study the idea of affordable housing on the undeveloped portion of the Bethany premises also was approved, with results from that study due this coming fall.
