A busy week at Bethany, starting with Girl Scouts technology event
Good Tuesday morning to you,
It's another busy week at Bethany. The combined chapters of the island's PEO groups hold an annual meeting here tomorrow. That's always fun.
Then on Thursday, the Girl Scouts hold an all-day technology event, where we learn skills needed for work in the future. We enjoy hosting the Girl Scouts here. Speaking of that organization, more troop leaders are needed for Bainbridge Island. As a former troop leader for Bainbridge Island Girl Scout Troop 42, I can tell you it's a wonderful way to serve. Perhaps when I retire I'll go back to doing that. Meanwhile, here's an invitation from Girl Scouts of Western Washington. Give it your consideration.
- Rachel Pritchett, office administrator and Troop 42 leaders, ex officio
Do you remember being a Girl Scout? Do you value the mentors you had as a child? Girl Scouts of Western Washington is looking for passionate adults to make a difference in the lives of girls on Bainbridge Island. Girl Scouts is, as it always has been, the organization best positioned to offer girls the tools they need to be successful leaders now and in the future. No matter what your gifts are as a volunteer, girls need you now on Bainbridge Island. By helping to lead a troop you will support girls to Discover, Connect and Take Action-three keys to leadership.
For questions or if you want to join a girl scout troop or become a volunteer please contact Jenell DeMatteo at or 360-698-5156.
