Adult Education Forum 26-27 Program Year Begins September 20!
This Sunday, September 20, after worship service we will have the inaugural adult forum with a presentation by Eric Hoffman on the faith tradition of Islam. Eric is a retired Bainbridge High School teacher. Very popular with students, for many years he taught an enlightening and often inspiring class on World Religions. Don't miss this informative opportunity!

CROP Hunger Walk, Sept. 20
$1=$4 for your CROP Hunger Walk donation! A Bethany member will match your donation to the Bethany CROP Hunger Walk Team up to $1000. In addition, a local community member matches all Bainbridge/North Kitsap CROP Hunger Walk donations up to $15,000.  What a deal!
This Sunday, September 20 is the day to Walk for CROP! 75% of monies raised goes to Church World Service providing help for refugees and people dealing with poverty or natural disasters. 20% goes to Helpline House; 5% goes to North Kitsap Fishline.

Chris Christensen will have walker envelopes on Sunday, Sept. 20. You can pick up an envelope to return the following Sunday, Sept. 27.

St. Barnabas' Schola Nova
Chant Vespers This Sunday, September 20 at 6 PM. Please join us for this contemplative service commemorating Hildegard of Bingen, mystic and scholar.

Women's Retreat—Oct 9-11
Attention all Bethany Women!  We have at 2 scholarship to attend the Oct 9-11 Women's Retreat at Pilgrim Firs near Port Orchard.  If you have been waiting to sign up, please do so ASAP.  We hope someone will be able to use this scholarship donated by a generous Bethany member for this year.  Our theme is women working to preserve our environment:  a time for learning paired with friendship and fun.  Hope you can join us!  Questions?  Contact Mary Jensen at or Colleen Chupik at colleen,

Donations for Helpline Red Wagon!
Please bring your non-perishable food as well as cleaning and personal care products. Most recently They are asking for soups, stews & chili.
