Affordable Housing Vision is Becoming Reality !!
Bethany took a giant step forward last Sunday in its plan to build affordable homes south of the Church buildings. Members of Bethany and the broader Bainbridge Island Community gathered for a ground-breaking ceremony – taking golden shovels and breaking ground – to officially begin building the Finch Green affordable housing project. Now that COBI has approved the plat, just a few more steps remain to be accomplished before property conveyance to Housing Resources Bainbridge (HRB) will occur. Hopefully, this will take place in November! Give a shout out to all the shovelers (and to everyone else who is making a vision become a reality!)
